Setu

Setu builds developer-first API infrastructure that lets any business embed financial services — payments, lending, account aggregation, and more — directly into their products. Founded in 2018 by Nikhil Kumar and Sahil Kini, Setu was acquired by Pine Labs in June 2022 in a deal reported at roughly $70 million, and now operates as Pine Labs' API infrastructure arm powering bill payments and other financial rails for banks and fintechs across India. It's headquartered in Bengaluru, India.
