The ASIC Verification-Team Lead for the Semiconductors group is a highly skilled Verification Engineer with solid experience across all levels of an ASIC environment (module, cluster, top level, and system-level integration). This role combines technical leadership with people management responsibilities and has a direct impact on project delivery and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and project leadership for ASIC verification activities, acting as the main technical point of contact.
- Coordinate and guide the team throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
- Actively contribute to defining the verification architecture and making key technical decisions.
- Apply and optimize SystemVerilog UVM-based verification methodologies at module, subsystem, and system levels.
- Manage planning, estimations, risks, and deliverables using project management tools.
- Collaborate with customers during project definition, negotiation, and technical requirement clarification phases.
- Ensure strong alignment and understanding across all teams involved in the ASIC development cycle: concept, logical design, verification, firmware/emulation, and physical design.
- Provide direct mentoring to team members and support their professional development.
- Work closely with recruitment teams to grow the group and to define internship and training programs.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience as a Verification Engineer in complex ASIC environments.
- Proven expertise in SystemVerilog UVM.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux scripting and automation, using multiple languages.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams through multiple complete project cycles.
- Solid understanding of product classes and solutions within the semiconductor industry.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
-Microprocessors
-System interconnects
-Memory and DMA controllers
-Low-speed and high-speed peripherals
-Networking
-Cryptography
-AI
- Strong understanding of the ASIC development lifecycle, including deliverables and risks associated with each involved team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, essential for both team management and customer interaction (assessed during the interview process).
